Welcome to TourismLang , a technology platform that connects people who need to communicate with others who don’t speak their language with interpreters who offer interpretation services through a mobile app. By using our website, mobile applications, or any of our services (collectively referred to as “Services”), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TourismLang ‘s services  , you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our Services.

2. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to access our Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to enter into a binding contract.

3. Services provided

TourismLang connects users with professional interpreters qualified for several languages. Our services include:

  • Language interpreting (both face-to-face and virtual)
  • Translation Services
  • Customized language support for tourists and businesses
  • Access to a network of qualified and verified interpreters
  • Access to the possibility of renting your interpreter’s car from the platform during the service.

4. User Accounts

To use the services, you must create a user account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities on your account.

There are two types of users:

  • Clients: Individuals or companies looking to hire interpreting services.
  • Interpreters: Professionals who offer interpreting services through the platform.

5. Interpreter Services

  • Availability of interpreters: TourismLang offers interpreter services based on the availability of interpreters on our platform.
  • Service Request: You can request interpreter services by specifying the language pair, duration, and type of service. You agree to provide accurate information to help us assign the correct interpreter.
  • Hiring conditions: Interpreters are hired through the Platform.
  • Interpreting service prices are set and generated from the platform.
  • The prices for renting an interpreter’s vehicle are set by the interpreter in the configuration of his or her profile.
  • The platform charges the commission for the total of the paid services.
  • The duration of the service and specific conditions are defined by the client at the time of booking.
  • Payment: Payment for interpreter services will be made according to the price described on our platform at the time of booking. Payments are processed through secure payment systems and all fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

6. Pricing and Payment

  • Pricing Structure: The cost of our services depends on the interpreter’s language expertise, the length of the session, and the type of service requested.
  • Billing Cycle: Payments are collected according to the billing cycle selected during the service request.
  • Currency: Payments will be made in the currency specified during the checkout process.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payments through various secure methods, including credit/debit cards and other payment providers.

7. Cancellation and refund policy

  • Cancellation: Users may cancel interpreter services within a certain period of time prior to the scheduled session without incurring a cancellation fee. The exact cancellation window will be indicated at the time of booking.
  • Refunds: Once a service is completed, no refund will be issued unless there is an error on our part or a problem with the interpreter’s performance.

8. Interpreter Conduct

All interpreters registered with TourismLang are expected to  maintain their professionalism and maintain high standards of confidentiality and ethics during interactions with users. You are expected to behave respectfully with the interpreter during the service session.

9. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for illegal or unauthorized purposes
  • Engaging in harassment, abusive behavior, or discrimination against performers or other users
  • Providing false or misleading information when making a request
  • Violate any local or international law while using the Services.

10. Privacy and data protection

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. By using our Services, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and use your personal data.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the TourismLang platform, including text, images, logos, software, and other materials, is the property of the TourismLang platform created by NDONG LLC, our licensors, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any part of the content without our permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, TourismLang is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of business, loss of data, or other personal or financial damages, arising out of the use of or inability to use our Services.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TourismLang , its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services, violation of these Terms and Conditions, or any infringement of intellectual property rights.

14. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend accounts for misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

15. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms with prior notice on the Platform.

16. Interpreter confidentiality commitment

**Between:**

**TourismLang **, owned by NDONG, LLC with registered office at 8 The Green Ste A, Dover DE 20901, referred to as “the Platform”,

And

**Interpreter**, whose legal information you will provide in due form when activating your account, in consideration as an “Interpreter Service Provider”,

Who agree to the following commitment:

1. Purpose

The purpose of this point is to guarantee the confidentiality of all information to which the Interpreter has access during the provision of services through the Platform, including, but not limited to:

  • Oral or written conversations with clients.
  • Customers’ medical, legal, financial, personal, or business information.
  • Shared documents, recordings, images, or files.

2. Confidentiality

The Interpreter undertakes to:

  • Not to disclose, share or use the confidential information obtained through the Platform for purposes other than those strictly necessary for the provision of the service.
  • Not to store or retain copies of information provided by customers without their express consent.
  • Maintain absolute discretion regarding the identity, content and topics discussed with customers.
  • Not to record, transcribe or record sessions without prior and express written authorisation from the client and the Platform.

3. Temporal scope

The obligation of confidentiality will subsist even after the relationship with the Platform or with any client has ended, for a minimum period of ninety-nine years (99) years, unless otherwise required by law.

4. Exceptions

It will not be considered a breach of this commitment when:

  • The information is made public by other sources unrelated to the Interpreter.
  • The information is required by competent authorities by virtue of a legal obligation, after notifying the Platform.

5. Non-compliance

Failure to comply with this commitment may result in:

  • Suspension or deletion of the Performer’s account on the Platform.
  • Claims for damages caused to customers or the Platform.
  • Corresponding legal actions according to current legislation.

17. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. The parties submit to the courts of Dover – Delaware / United States.
